Wichita is home to both collegiate and professional sports teams, and has been the home of the National Baseball Congress for over half a century. The championship tournament attracts the best non-professional teams from all over the U.S. Wichita State University’s baseball team is always at the top of the college ranks. Wichita is a unique city with something for every one!.

It was first founded in the 1830’s by a Native American tribe. The population in Tulsa in 2006 was estimated at just fewer than 400,000. It is said that it is the birthplace of the infamous Route 66. This city is located in Tornado Alley and does suffer from frequent severe weather but overall is a fabulous place to visit.

Toledo is its own city – we don’t feel that we need to compete with The Cleveland Orchestra. Toledo is home to one of America’s top zoos. This world-renowned zoo is home to the world’s first “Hippoquarium”, an underwater viewing area where patrons can watch the daily activity of a hippopotamus family. Toledo is located in northwestern Ohio extending along both banks of the Maumee River where it empties into Lake Erie. Toledo is a major port of the Great Lakes and famed for its glass manufacturing. Toledo is a great place. It’s the ‘littlest big city’ in the area and has so much to offer.

The twin cities are nestled in a very pretty area with lots of lakes dispersed all over the place. Of course, Mississippi River goes through it where you can have a sightseeing tour on board of a replica of an 1890 paddlewheel riverboat.

It is home to over 500,000 people and offers many tourist attractions for the thousands of visitors they welcome each year. The weather here is of a humid continental climate which has four seasons and also can be affected by damaging tornados in the spring.
